Moving and rescheduling posts
Where: the Calendar, drag any post card
Dragging a scheduled post
Section titled “Dragging a scheduled post”Drag a scheduled post or a draft to a different slot and it reschedules. There is no confirmation, because nothing has been published yet. A slot in the past refuses the drop.
Dragging a post that already went out
Section titled “Dragging a post that already went out”This is the case that needs care. When you move a post that is published, sent but unconfirmed, or still queued at a time that has already passed, UseNadia stops and asks What do you want to do?:
This post was already published, what do you want to do?
| Choice | What it does |
|---|---|
| Just update the post details | Moves the card on the calendar. The live post is untouched |
| Reschedule the post | Publishes it again at the new time |
Pick Just update the post details when you are tidying the calendar. Pick Reschedule the post only when you genuinely want the content posted a second time. Closing the dialog cancels the move.
A post that repeats gets no special treatment: the card you drag is the one that moves.
Duplicating instead of moving
Section titled “Duplicating instead of moving”Duplicate Post on the card gives you a copy to place elsewhere, leaving the original where it is. That is usually what you want when repurposing content rather than correcting a schedule — see Post actions and statistics.
On a phone
Section titled “On a phone”Drag and drop does not work by touch. To reschedule from a phone, open the post and change its date in the composer.
Bulk changes
Section titled “Bulk changes”There is no multi-select on the calendar. For bulk rescheduling, work through List view, or drive it through the Public API, which can update posts programmatically. The agent can also move a post, one at a time, and refuses one that is already published.
