Post actions and statistics
Where: the Calendar, hover any post card
The card actions
Section titled “The card actions”| Action | What it does |
|---|---|
| Duplicate Post | Opens a copy in the composer, ready to place elsewhere |
| Preview Post | Opens the post’s public page, see Sharing for approval |
| Automate comments on this post | On a published Instagram post: pose a comment → DM template on it (Automate replies to this story on a live story) |
| View comments | On a published Instagram post that is not a story: the live comments, with reply, hide and delete on each |
| Post Statistics | Per-post performance and short link clicks |
| Connect Post | Replaces Statistics when UseNadia never received the platform’s ID for a published post, see below |
| Delete Post | Removes the post |
A super-admin account also gets Copy post id and Copy Debug JSON. On a phone the same actions sit behind a ••• button.
Moving a card to another slot is its own subject: Moving and rescheduling posts.
Deleting
Section titled “Deleting”A post scheduled to five channels is five posts sharing a group, so deleting from the calendar removes the whole group by default. That is usually what you want. To remove a single channel’s copy, open the post and deselect that channel instead.
Comments
Section titled “Comments”View comments opens the post’s comment thread as Instagram has it right now, without needing an automation on the post. Reply publicly, hide a comment or delete it from there. Comments that matched an automation’s trigger word also show up in the pose’s people, see Comment → DM automations; the direct messages that follow are in the inbox.
Statistics
Section titled “Statistics”The Statistics modal shows how a published post performed, over 7, 30 or 90 days depending on what the platform supports.
Below the metrics is the short link table: each shortened URL in the post, the destination, and how many clicks it got. This only has rows if the post was saved with short links enabled, see Links and validation.
Connecting a post UseNadia lost track of
Section titled “Connecting a post UseNadia lost track of”Occasionally UseNadia publishes a post but never receives the platform’s ID for it, usually because the platform timed out after accepting the content. The post shows as published but has no statistics and no link to the live version.
Its card then offers Connect Post where Statistics would be: you pick the live post among the recent posts the platform reports, and UseNadia reattaches the two. Statistics start working from that point.
The same operation exists in the API, see Update release ID.
Debugging a failed post
Section titled “Debugging a failed post”A post with a red ring has the platform’s own error message in its tooltip. That message is the thing to search for or to quote when asking for help, since it comes from the platform rather than from UseNadia. See Troubleshooting.
