Manage a channel

Where: account switcher, Manage brands & channels, the Channels section

Everything you do to a channel after connecting it is in one modal. It is deliberately short: three actions.

Action What it does
Enable / Disable Takes the channel in or out of service without losing anything
Reconnect Re-runs the authorisation. Shown when the platform says Channel disconnected
Delete Removes the channel and everything UseNadia stored from it, after a confirmation

The section also reminds you how many channels are in no brand, which is the usual reason a channel seems to have vanished from the calendar: it is connected, it is just not in the brand you are scoped to — see Brands and scope.

Access tokens expire — Instagram’s last about 60 days. UseNadia renews them itself: each channel has a background job that wakes up at the token’s expiry date and refreshes it. But a password change, a revoked app or a permission you declined all end the session early. When that happens the channel gets a red dot in the account switcher and its posts start failing.

A few things to know:

  • Posts that already failed are not retried automatically. Reschedule them.
  • Reconnect as the same account. Authorising a different one leaves the channel’s collected history describing someone else.
  • Reconnecting re-asks for the permissions the provider declares, so a scope added since you first connected (Instagram’s instagram_business_manage_messages, for instance) arrives with the reconnect.

What each platform asks at reconnect is the same as at the first connect, see Connect a channel.

Disable takes a channel out of service. Its posts, its collected analytics history and the people its automations caught all stay, and you can enable it again at any time.

Delete is final. The confirmation says what goes:

Delete this channel? Its scheduled posts are cancelled, and everything UseNadia stored from the platform (access token, comments, messages, keyword rules, statistics) is erased. This cannot be undone.

The same deletion is available over the API (DELETE /integrations/:id), and it does not refuse a channel that still has posts: the scheduled ones are cancelled with it.
