Posting time slots
A time slot is a time of day that a channel normally posts at. Slots are stored per channel, so one Instagram account can run at 09:00 and 13:00 while another runs at 18:00. You never set them yourself: every channel is created with a default set.
Where you see them
Section titled “Where you see them”Slots are a convenience, not a restriction. You can always schedule a post at a time that is not a slot. Two things in the app use them:
- The calendar’s Day view. Its rows are your channels’ slots, plus any time that already has a post. This is what makes Day view a plan for the day rather than 24 empty hours. See The calendar.
- Create Post. The button asks for the next free slot before opening the
composer, so a new post lands on a sensible time instead of now. The
same lookup is the
find-slotendpoint of the Public API, and what Schedule on a content card uses when the card has no planned date.
Timezones
Section titled “Timezones”Slots are in your browser’s timezone, like everything else in UseNadia. There is no per-account timezone setting. A slot at 09:00 is 09:00 where you are sitting, not where the audience is. See Scheduling and publishing.
