Sharing a post for approval

Where: the Calendar, a post, Preview Post — or /p/:id directly

Every post has a public preview page. Sending that link is how you get a second pair of eyes on a post before it publishes, without opening your calendar to anyone.

  • The post rendered as it will appear, including media and all thread parts.
  • The date it is scheduled for.
  • A comment box — or, for someone who is not signed in, a Login / Register to add comments button.

Anyone with the link can read the post: no account is needed for that, and nothing else of your workspace is visible, not the calendar, not the channels. Commenting needs a UseNadia account, so in practice the people who leave comments are the members of your team.

Comments left on the preview page stay with the post, so a review cycle inside a team looks like:

  1. Draft the week

Write the posts and Save as Draft so nothing can publish while it is under review.

  2. Send the previews

Preview Post on each card, copy the link, send it to whoever reviews.

  3. Read the comments

Feedback arrives against the post it belongs to, rather than in a thread of email where nobody can tell which post is which.

  4. Edit and schedule

Apply the changes, then switch the drafts to scheduled — see Moving and rescheduling posts for what happens to a date you change.

Someone outside the team can still read the preview and answer you by email or chat; they just cannot write on the page.

Combine this with brands:

  1. Scope the sidebar to the brand.
  2. Draft its week — the calendar shows nothing else.
  3. Send preview links for the posts that need a second pair of eyes.
  4. Schedule once they come back.
  • A preview link is not password protected. Anyone with the URL can read the post, so treat it as unlisted rather than private.
  • Approval is a conversation, not a state: there is no “approved” flag that blocks publishing. You move the post from draft to scheduled yourself.
